We hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday and that you have recovered from the effects of “Sandy”.
We canceled the membership meeting that we had scheduled for November 20th, and thanks to the storm we had to postpone two negotiating sessions. The good news is that we’re back on track now. We returned to the bargaining table on November 9th and also conducted a session on November 28, 2012.
Rest assured that progress is still being made at all sessions and we are currently attempting to finalize all non-economic issues before we focus on salary which should take place soon.
By now you’re probably aware of the adjunct faculty contract ratification. However, we remain determined to strive for a settlement tailored to the needs of support staff.
